CelticMKE's Official Pre-Concert Restaurant: Leff's Lucky Town

Before the show, we highly recommend starting your evening at Leff’s Lucky Town, a beloved Wauwatosa staple known for its delicious food, laid-back atmosphere, and friendly service. Located just minutes from the CelticMKE Center, this neighborhood bar and grill serves up their famous Big Ass Pretzel, award-winning burgers, wings, and other tasty food. A perfect spot to start your Tosa experience before enjoying a great night of music.

"My husband and I have attended many events up at the Irish Fest Center (now CelticMKE) over the years. Our favorites have always been the holiday concerts and this past year's concert featuring Tallymoore is no exception. Tallymoore is a young Milwaukee based group that has been a favorite of ours for a number of years now. They do a great mix of traditional Irish music that they put their own spin on as well as some new material of their own like, "I'm a Tommy Makem Man." For this concert they played all the favorites but mixed them in with some great holiday music as well. It is a great way to get in the holiday mood. 

The concert venue at CelticMKE is really nice and intimate. There are great sight lines from all areas of the room and they do a really good job with the sound system. There is a cash bar (and on this night, they had a second set up to accommodate the number of people) that serves beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks. What makes CelticMKE great is the people running it. They are friendly, welcoming and you can tell they enjoy what they are doing. What makes the holiday concert even better is that they do a food collection at it for the local food pantry. A wonderful gesture during the holiday season.
