Since its inception in 1993, the Milwaukee Irish Fest Foundation has granted more than $500,000 to non-profit entities locally, in the United States and in Ireland. Recipients have shared our priorities to promote Irish and Irish American culture, education, and to support critical needs in our communities.
In addition to these grants, we are pleased to offer academic scholarship opportunities to students. We also offer individual scholarships toward classes at our Summer School and grants to individuals.
CelticMKE has a proud history of supporting local organizations. We sponsor a food drive benefitting the Hunger Task Force each year during Milwaukee Irish Fest. In recent years, we've collected an average of 49,000 pounds of non-perishable food at our annual festival. We have also collected thousands of school supplies for children served by Hope House of Milwaukee and have hosted successful blood and bone marrow drives for the BloodCenter of Wisconsin. Each year at our Christmas concert, we collect food donations for the Wauwatosa Food Pantry, and we are a proud donor to the annual Channel 10 auction, as well as several other non-profit organizations throughout our community.
We hope you will join us in supporting our communities both during the Festival and all year long!
